3D Computer Graphics & Transmedia Storytelling
Images by Peter von Stackelberg
This series of images is part of a larger set of test images done to show how CG images might be used to illustrate a story. Essentially, it forms a storyboard that will be used later to layout a story that uses much higher quality renderings.
Computer graphic (CG) 3D models show promise for use in transmedia storytelling. This image is one of a series generated as a test render to see how CG images might be used to create the visuals for a story. Low-cost, off-the-shelf CG software and models were used to create and render the images on a consumer grade Dell laptop. The CG models use are sophisticated enough that it is possible to create numerous expressions. In this set of test renders the expression shifts from surprise to curiosity to anger.
